Age limit up to 30 years. the Student must have passed 12th standard (HSC) or equivalent examination and also having adequate experience of participating theatre or short film or film activity.
The students must be a graduate in any stream or equivalent examination and also having theatre experience.
· Higher Secondary School Certificate/ Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recongnized board.
· Minimum 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of reserved category) from science. Commerce, arts or any other stream/discipline
· Below 20 years of age as on 18th May, 2022 for MUCMET applicants (22 years in case of reserved category and PWD candidates)
· 85% of the seats shall be reserved for the students qualified and domiciled in
Candidates must qualify all four eligibility criteria listed below:
· Candidates in General and OBC category should be born on or after August 01, 2000. The age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ ST/ Divyangjan candidates.
· Class XII qualifying examination should be passed in either 2018 or 2019. Candidates appearing in 2020 are also eligible. (Where only Letter Grade is given by the Board, a certificate from the Board specifying equivalent percentage marks will be required. In the absence of such a certificate the decision of the respective Admission Committees will be final.)
· At least 60% marks in aggregate (or equivalent grade) in Class XII (or equivalent) examination from any recognized Board in India. For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates and for Divyangjan candidates, the minimum requirement is 55%.
· Candidate should secure a position in the NEST merit list.
To apply for NEST 2020, candidates must fill–up the online application form through www.nestexam.in on or after January 07, 2020. Candidates are strongly advised to read through the detailed online application procedure available on the website (click on ‘How to Apply online’). Online application process closes on April 3rd, 2020. Application can be
Submitted only through NEST 2020 website. There is no other mode of application submission. Login credentials for logging into application submission and fee payment portals will be provided upon online registration.
Application Fee: The application fee for the male candidates of General and OBC categories is Rs. 1,200/–. The application fee for candidates in the SC/ST/PwD categories and for all female candidates is Rs. 600/–. Payments can be made using credit card/debit
card/net–banking through online payment gateway. Please use Mastercard/Visa/RuPay cards only.
Candidates need not send any document to NEST office in the entire application process. Please refer to the instruction sheet (the ‘How to Apply Online’ tab on website) for details regarding application process.

The following candidates are exempted from PET Exam certificates:
1. M.Phil Degree certificates. A person whose M.Phil Dissertation is evaluated and viva voce exam is pending are eligible to apply.
2. The candidate is exempted from PET Exam certificate if they have cleared any one of the national level or state level exam namely CSIR-UGC NET/NET/GATE/SLET/INSPIRE or any JRF holder of any of the apex bodies like CSIR/DST/DBT/ICMR/ICSSR/UGC/ICAR.
3. A Teacher who is regular in service of any of the apex bodies like CSIR/DST/DBT/ICMR/ICSSR/UGC/ICAR.

Candidates seeking admission to M. Tech. in Computer Engineering programme will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE),
1. The candidate needs be an Indian National.
2. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of Engineering / Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institution or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to backward class categories and persons with disability and belonging to the State of Maharashtra ) as per the DTE eligibility criteria.
3. Candidate should have passed B. E. / B. Tech. Degree in branch of Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Information Technology or Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering or Power Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
4. Must have obtained a positive (non-zero) score in GATE.

Admissions to this program are based on primarily on the valid GATE score as per the norms set by the DTE.

The minimum requirement for admission to the MSW degree programme is a Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of 3 years duration in Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Home Science or any other faculty of a recognized University. Higher academic degrees or diplomas in Social Sciences and experience of working with people will be an additional qualification
Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying Bachelor’s degree examinations in April/May 2016 and whose results are awaited are also eligible for the admission. Admissions of such candidates will be provisional and will be confirmed only after passing the graduation degree exam and on submission of final mark sheet.
Candidates deputed by Govt. or Private organizations should apply through proper channel with appropriate NOC
Basic Requirements for Admission
MSW is a full time course and candidates are not permitted to seek employment or register for any other University degree course at any time throughout the two years period of training
Organisations deputing candidates for the course will have to relieve the candidate from all official duties during the period of deputation for two years
Age Criteria
There is no minimum age for admission provided the student meet all other eligibility and admission criteria required by the University. Admission is open to men, women and transgender students
Selection Procedures
The application forms for admission are available on the Centre’s office. The application forms must be completed with relevant documents attached (as indicated in the application from) and submitted at the centre on or before 07th June 2017
The application form will not be considered for admission unless all information sought is provided therein, including copies of all documents mentioned in the application form. The prospectus copy is also available online on the above website
The candidates who have passed their qualifying examinations from any University other than the University of Mumbai will require to obtain a ‘Provisional Eligibility Certificate’ prior to admission after submitting the original copies of the passing certificate and mark sheets of the qualifying examination

For the MSW Programme admissions are based on a series of admission tests, a group discussion and a panel interview which takes into consideration the candidate’s past academic performance, proficiency in the English language, general knowledge, background in social work experience, interest and aptitude for the profession

Minimum Admission Requirement
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the course leading to the degree of Master of Bachelor of Arts must have passed the examination for the degree of Bachelor of Arts (three year integrated course) of this University or the degree of Bachelor of Arts (old i.e. four year course) of this University or a degree of another University recognised as equivalent thereto. Provided , however, that applications of graduates of this University in the Faculties other than the Faculty of Arts , or those who have passed the equivalent examination of another recognised University seeking admission to the M.A. degree course by papers, will be considered by the Academic Council on the merits of each individual case, on the recommendation of the Head of the University Department concerned/Chairman of the Board of Studies concerned in the subject in which there is no University Department/Principal of a College where the Post-Graduate centre is granted , and in the case of a student seeking admission to the course by research , on the recommendation of the Chairman of the Committee of recognised such applications, the following procedure shall be followed :-
