Minimum qualification for admission to the PGDM program at the Institute is three / four years bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST) in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities.

Candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their graduate degree examination in academic year 2022-23 are also eligible to appear for the admission process, provided they do not have more than 2 (two) backlogs in all. Such candidates if finally selected, must clear their graduation examination with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates) by August 2023.

Also, a candidate desirous of seeking admission at Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi will have to appear in an all-India level management admission test. XISS, Ranchi considers only the following three admission test scores for shortlisting the candidates:

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2023) conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur

Common Admission Test (CAT 2022) conducted by IIM, and

(CMAT 2023) conducted by NTA

The above three are the only approved entrance test examinations through which a candidate can apply with at XISS Ranchi.

Admission Procedure:

The institute will accept only online registrations. Date of filling up forms for seeking admission at XISS, Ranchi (for session 22-24) will remain open from October 01, 2021.

APPLICATION FEE:

The registration fee for applying to applications for session 2022-24 is INR 1970/-

Shortlisted candidate, who clear the cut-off w.r.t the above mentioned all India entrance test score, will be called for the Group Discussion/Extempore and Personal interview (GD&PI) either through ONLINE/OFFLINE modes depending on the prevailing Covid conditions.

1.     Offline (Face-to-face) GDPI, if opted for. shall be available only at our Campus in Ranchi.

2.     XISS is closely following following MHA and AICTE guidelines w.r.t Covid-19 safety protocols for all its admission processes during the pandemic.

3.     Exact GDPI dates and Test score cut-off will be communicated later.

4.     After the GDPI round, admission offers are made to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which include:

·          Past academic record (20% weightage)

·          Performance in entrance tests (40% weightage)

·          Performance in Group Discussion (10% weightage)

·          Performance in Personal Interview (25% weightage)

·          Extracuricular and Diversity (5% weightage)

Such candidates, if called for interview, should submit the copy of admit card or a letter from the principal of the college where they are studying to that effect. Such candidates if finally selected at XISS, Ranchi must clear their graduation examination with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST) by August 2021.

Also, a candidate desirous of seeking admission at Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi will have to appear in an all India level management admission test. XISS, Ranchi considers only the following three admission test scores for shortlisting the candidates:

1.     Applicants must register themselves at the XISS admission application window by pressing the ‘Apply Now’ button and enter necessary details. It will lead to the application form.

2.     For online registrations, the Registration Fee can be paid through online transactions using Credit / Debit / ATM cards / Online Banking and Application form fee is nonrefundable.

The registration fee varies according to number of specializations applied for:

·          One specialization: Rs. 1570 (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Seventy Only)

·          Two specializations: Rs. 1870 (Rupees One Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy Only)
