Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Admission Test (SAAT), a national level entrance test is conducted by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University every year to select bright students from different parts of our country. The test is being conducted for different programs offered in constituent institutes / schools of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan. SAAT-2021, the eleventh edition of this entrance test, will be held online format at centers across various cities of India. The test is primarily a multiple choice type written test and the standard of the test is comparable with another national level entrance test. Short listed candidates will be called to attend counseling for admission into various programmes of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan. Another feature of this entrance test is that the candidates with diploma in engineering/ technology/ pharmacy and hotel management are eligible for admission into regular courses under lateral entry scheme through SAAT-2021.

Candidates shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted respective states/Central Government Authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one the subject and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and /or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B) as optional subjects individually ; and obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects ‘Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology taken together’.

Eligibility:
Pass or appearing (2021) B.Pharm Degree examination from an Indian University established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years of B.Pharm) (50% for the reserved category candidates). Students appearing the final B. Pharm degree examination may also apply.
For candidates having not less than 5 years professional experience, after passing B. Pharm course, there shall be a relaxation in pass percentage from 55% to 50% for admission to M.Pharm programme.
Every student, selected for admission to the Post Graduate programme in any PCI approved institution should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission, failing which the admission of the student shall be cancelled.
The candidate having valid GPAT Score can apply and shall get preference in selection.
Note: It is mandatory to submit a Migration Certificate obtained from the respective University where the candidate had passed his/her qualifying degree (B.Pharm)

· Candidate should have OGPA 6.5 and GPA 7.0 in concerned discipline on 10 point scale.
· Candidate belonging to SC/ST/PH shall have OGPA 5.5 and GPA 6.0 in concerned discipline on a 10 point scale.
· The requirement of minimum percentage of marks (OGPA/GPA) as indicated above shall not be applicable to the candidate sponsored by State Government/ Central Government/ Nominee of ICAR.
· Minimum age limit is 21 year as on 31.07.2021. No relaxation in age limit.
· ICAR / Departmental candidates sponsored by State Govt. and Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University) employees to be admitted as in-service candidates are exempted from appearing at Entrance Examination.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria
· Age less than 35 years
· 10+2 science students only
· +2 pass percentage more than 40% (all categories: ST/SC/OBC/GC)
Admission Procedure:
1. All students are required to apply & appear Siksha O Anusandhan Admissions Test (SAAT) or equivalent qualifying exam(s).
2. Separate merit list for all qualifying candidates shall be prepared on the basis of SAAT.
3. In addition, separate merit lists will also be drawn for candidates qualifying under each of the reservation categories. Each qualified candidate shall be given a rank card.
4. The reservations shall be followed as per the reservation policy mentioned in the Reservation Policy Document.
5. Online/Offline counseling will be done based on the merit and preference of the candidate. The detailed processes and schedule will be notified after the ranks are published.
6. During final admission (dates to be notified after online/offline counseling) all certificates in original will be verified. For records of the Institutes, two sets of attested copies of the certificates and mark sheets etc. will be collected.
7. A candidate selected through the counseling for a course is admitted and registered as a student of SOA deemed to be University automatically.
NOTE: At any time during the course of study, if it is found that the student is not satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria for admission into a particular course as prescribed by the SAAT information brochure and rules laid down by other statutory bodies, the candidate’s admission will be cancelled. He/She cannot claim the same in court of law. Hence, candidates are requested to make sure that they fulfill all the criteria before seeking admission.

Following Steps to be followed to fill the Form:
· Fill up all details carefully.
· Complete the application form as required and submit.
· The acknowledgement for successful submission of application form of the SAAT 2021 will be intimated to your Email Id and/or Mobile no. (Filling of the form does not confirm guaranteed admission)
Check that the online application form has been properly and completely filled up.
Application process: Incomplete application will not be accepted.
All candidates are requested to keep the soft copy of Photo to upload during filling up the application form. (Recent Colour passport size Photograph). (File size: Less than 1 MB / File format: png, gif, jpg, jpeg)
Application number shall be provided in due course after forms are processed.
